Police: Two arrested for internet sex crimes against children

WYNNE, AR (KAIT) – The hard work of detectives in a Region 8 police department led to the arrest of a person accused of internet stalking.

Wynne Police officers arrested 43-year-old Kevin Brittain on Feb. 23.

According to a press release issued by the Wynne Police Department, Brittain had been chatting online with who he believed to be a young female teenager.

The report further stated Brittain went so far as to schedule a meeting with the female to perform sexual acts.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were the ones actually on the profile.

Brittain now faces charge for internet stalking.

This is the second arrest of this type made by Wynne Police officers over the past two weeks.

30-year-old Robert Brandon Graves was arrested on Feb. 11 on charges of Internet Stalking of a Child and Computer Child Pornography.

The press release said Graves believed he was communicated with a 14-year-old girl and sent numerous photos of his genitals and asked for the 14-year-old to send him nude photographs of her.

Both Graves and Brittain are being held at the Cross County Jail on $75,000 bond.
